This installation is a project of the Electric Auto Association, entirely funded by EV driver contributions to the EAA, with the cooperation of the Tahoe City PUD, which supplied the parking space and pays the electricity costs. EAA Web site.

Voltage measured at 216 volts.

Driving directions:
Fairway Drive is at the South end of Tahoe City, just out of the main part of town. If coming from Truckee, turn left on Fairway Drive just as you arrive in Tahoe City, before the Chevron station. If heading toward Truckee, turn right on Fairway Drive just after you pass the Chevron Station. PUD office is to the left at the top of the first small hill.
Go to Google Local for driving directions to/and from any location, and to find points of interest.

How to find the charging station location once you have found the site:
In front of Headquarters building, to the right of the building.

Things to do:
0.2 miles to downtown Tahoe City, where there are many stores, restaurants, parks.

Closest motel is Travelodge, 455 North Lake Blvd., an easy 0.5-mile walk.

Olympic Bike Shop, 620 North Lake Blvd.
also at Squaw Valley Ski Shop on North Lake Blvd.
There are extensive bike paths in the area.

Golf course immediately adjacent, with snowmobile rental in winter.
