There are signs near the entrances referring to 810 Davis St...... Tom Dowling 2/11/05
I saw that sign as well. That must be the commercial office space that actually borders Davis Street. The Bella Vista Road Park and Ride Lot itself does not even touch Davis Street.
I was actually involved in the process to determine what the official address was for the Bella Vista Road Park and Ride Lot. There used to be three houses on that site and they kept the address that was for one of the homes (782 Davis Court) as the official address for the site. It is also noted inside the electrical panel as the address that PG&E now uses for the site.
When you see the sign coming from that direction going towards the freeway it is really the only way to get to the back side of that commercial office space so it must be providing a reference for those folks looking for 810 Davis Street.

=======================
We are tentatively scheduling a dedication of that site for Thursday, March 24th, from 1100 - 1200. We will have refreshments.
The photovoltaic system was installed by Prevalent Power out of Novato. Here is the link to their website:
http://solutions.energyinnovations.com/
It appears that they have changed their name to EI Solutions.
The system is a 45 kW photovoltaic system. It is expected to generate enough clean renewable energy to meet all of the anticipated electrical demands from the four small-paddle inductive chargers, two conductive chargers with 110V GFCI circuits, lighting at the park and ride lot, and the irrigation controls for the landscaping at the site.
The photovoltaic system array will also provide shaded parking for all six specially marked "Electric Vehicle Charging Only" parking spaces during the afternoon.
We would encourage electric vehicle owners to use the Bella Vista Road Park and Ride Lot over the Vacaville Regional Transportation Center (VRTC) site [Davis & Hickory - 95688_1 Ed.] when it is feasible, since we are likely to be a net producer of clean renewable energy on an annual cycle basis, and PG&E will not provide the City of Vacaville with a credit so that we could apply the difference to other City of Vacaville accounts. The City of Vacaville does pay for the use of the electric vehicle public charging stations at the VRTC location.
