Driving directions:

How to find the charging station location once you have found the site:
Directions: Off FWY 780 exit at East 2nd Street, travel towards water (south) across Military, make left turn at East L Street (you'll see City Hall in front of you, but the charger is at the rear of the building), make right at East 3rd Street, make a right at K Street then turn right into the back lot of City Hall. The chargers are at the right side of the lot Benicia is an interesting and charming town, and was the California State Capital from 1853 to 1854. Check out for more information.
There are many fine eating spots on First Street, just a block or so to the West of the charger. My spouse and I had a fantastic dinner at Petals Bar & Restaurant, 639 First St., 707-748-5695, closed Sunday and Monday. We had a table with a view of the historic State Capitol Building right across the street.
There is a conductive charging station here.

Things to do:
Nearby: Victor's for great Italian, Gumba's for quick Chicago Grill, Camelia Tea Room for lunch, plus many more all on First Street just a block away.
Leave a note in the mail slot at City Hall about how you appreciate the charger. Our 'with it' Mayor had no idea what the charger was for and accepted it only because it's was free. -- Chris Sanders 4/30/2001
