In order to exit without payment, you must present EV information to the attendant. Print something up that says:

EV Driver Information for Free Parking in LAX:

• Name
• Address
• Phone Number
• CA Driver's License Number
• Vehicle License Number
• Make/Model of Vehicle

Driving directions:
Enter LAX on the Arrivals level. Turn left into the first parking structure (which is across from Terminal 1. Go straight into the structure (heading south), make a left at the end (heading east), and exit the structure on the east end. The chargers are on your left just as you exit the structure.

Go to Google Local for driving directions to/and from any location, and to find points of interest.

How to find the charging station location once you have found the site:
Lot 1 is on the ground (Arrivals) level just east of the parking structure across from Terminal 1.

First and last chargers are LARGE PADDLE, the rest are SMALL PADDLE.

Please use the LARGE PADDLE chargers first, if you can.

Space #1 is marked for Disabled Persons. EV's can use this space without a DP placard, but only if all other charging spaces are in use when you park. Non-EV's, even those bearing a DP placard, will be towed. EVs may park there without a DP placard, and the airport police have been told of this.

Things to do:
The restaurant "Encounters" is in the center of LAX in the circular top of the "Theme Building." Not cheap, but great food, great service, and impressive ambiance.

For a no-frills meal, also in the Theme Building but on the ground level 90° to the right of the main entrance, the employees cafeteria has OK food at good prices. Airport employees with ID's get 20% off.
