Charging locations

Utility companies like the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, Southern California Edison, San Diego Gas & Electric, Pacific Gas & Electric, Sacramento Municipal Utility District, Arizona Public Service and Tucson Electric Power Company have worked in partnership with General Motors to build an infrastructure for the EV1. So far, more than 1,100 chargers have been installed and are in use by EV customers in California and Arizona.

These public charging stations are at shopping centers, airports, hotels, restaurants, banks, offices, park-and-rides, museums, beaches and Saturn retail facilities. With the availability of public chargers, even more lengthy round trips can be completed comfortably in the EV1.
